Dual Angle lug design increases traction and minimises soil disturbance
Firestone’s unique and patented Dual Angle Lug design has a greater contact area than a standard lug.
The Dual Angle Lug, combined with its large surface area, has strong grip and excellent traction.
Pressure
Working at pressure between 0.8 bar and 4 bar depending on size, with cyclic load bonus up to 5 bars
Robust casing and improved resistance thanks to Firestone’s strong and long-lasting carcass and the wear-resistant compound.
Load capacity
Steel tread plies for higher loads
The robust carcass is reinforced by rigid steel tread plies construction, enabling PERFORMER 95 tyres to carry heavier loads at high speeds.
This provides great stability when using longer sprayer booms. At the same time, radial body ply in the sidewall gives the steel tread plies a spring-effect, for shock-absorption and driving comfort.
BENEFITS: Higher productivity - Higher ride comfort - Higher load capacity or lower tyre pressure for increased soil protection
High load capacity
Firestone’s PERFORMER 95 tyres allow you to carry bigger spray tanks (over 4000l) and use wider sprayer booms, which means less time wasted in transport to refill the sprayer. Yet another gain in productivity.
Reduction of operating costs
High-speed index
With its high-speed index (D rate, at 65 km/h), Firestone’s PERFORMER 95 tyres allow you to drive faster on a wide variety of surfaces, both on the road and in the field.
Even at these higher speeds, the tyre continues to deliver precise handling, excellent steering response and superior driver comfort. BENEFIT: time saving
Narrow tyre design
The Firestone PERFORMER 95’s narrow tyre design reduces crop and root damage significantly, while being strong enough to cope with the heaviest spray tanks loads. BENEFIT: Higher yield
High self-cleaning capacity
Also prevents soil from clinging to the tread, further improving traction with low topsoil disturbance.
